You can request a certificate of admissibility for the purpose of rectifying the company’s articles of incorporation, or a public deed, if you need to: 

  • change the initial request’s applicant
  • change the registered head office to another municipality 
  • change the company’s name  
  • change the activities exercised (company’s object). 

You can only use this service if the NIPC initially assigned is still valid.

Upon the certificate’s approval, you have 3 months to rectify the articles of incorporation and request the respective commercial registry.

Whenever the subscriber of the request is a legal professional / procuration holder, a partner must be identified. 

 

How to request

To request a certificate to rectify the company’s articles of incorporation, you need to provide:

  • data on the person making the request
  • the Collective Person Identification number originally assigned.

How to request online

  1. Access the online service
  2. Select means of authentication: Citizen card, Digital Mobile key, Digital certificate of legal professionals, European Authentication (eIDAS)
  3. Complete the form and attach the necessary documents
  4. Make payment (ATM reference or credit card).

Payment must be completed within 5 consecutive days after the submission request.

Before rectifying the company’s articles of incorporation and carrying out the respective registry.

  • Presencialmente no RNPC em Lisboa,  ou nas delegações junto das Lojas do Cidadão de Leiria e de Coimbra
  • By post, completing this form and sending it to Registo Nacional de Pessoas Coletivas. 

What happens next

After submitting the request:

We provide the billing document 

The billing document is sent to your email. 

For requests in person, the billing document is delivered on the spot. Requests by post will also receive the document by post.

You receive the certificate

The certificate is available upon approval by the Registo Nacional de Pessoas Coletivas.

We provide the access code

The code is valid for 3 months to set up the entity in question or carry out its amendment and respective registry.

Rectify the articles of incorporation

Within its period of validity (3 months), rectify the articles of incorporation and proceed with the company’s formation registry.
